yeah, I don't really want a nexting either, but... hmmm - do we think he's coming back?

Is it generally the case that the moderator would try to take the turn in his best interest or that he simply opens and closes? If it's the former than I vote for a nexting. But I'm not really fussy so if everyone wants to hold for a while longer than I'm ok with that too.

uhm - I really want to attack David, and strategicallly speaking every turn that I don't attack him gives him time to reinforce that island that I nuked. Can I attack next turn?

On the same issue though - this does kinda seem pointless if David's not coming back. I don't know about everyone else, but with my environment in shambles, my economy turns away from a collapse, and a massive army to spare - my sole raison d'etre right now is to give David a good kicking before I go down! Seeing as he's not likely to be coming back (or am I seaking too soon), can I at least throw myself into him so that the others can fairly fight it out?

I'm experiencing an existentialist moment right now - if David doesn't exist, does that mean I don't either?

I suggest to wait David another turn. If there will not be answer we should find another player.
I'm doing only necessary maintains of his civilization, mean no counterattacks or building offensive military and no military movement. After regular ruler take over, you'll still have all strategic advantage you have right now.
I noticed Canadians are prime polluters, so you should do something about your own environment and your own economy. Attack on Greeks has nothing to do here.
And again, please suspend all aggressive moves against Greeks, until new (old) King is crowned.
