I don't know how much we get from taxes, we should make sure that 100 rubles is enough to cover all expenses for next month!

We must find the money somewhere. Have him search the houses of some of our Capitalist "friends" here in Moscow

The freight that arrives in Baku next turn will probably give us enough funds to counter the deficits of the other cities, plus we get a one turn bonus, which is most of the time in Baku quite high

Distance and size of the city play a big role, so I think we should leave it UK-homed, and let it arrive in Baku. We will get a lot of money (likely as much or even more then Baku-Grozny) AND we get it the next turn, while sending it to Grozny will take some extra turns! We need the money now, we can always make the other traderoutes during summer, when movement is better (and when we get transports in Ashkabad)
Just my opinion though.

Henrik is right, NONE homed trade convoys will get the city to trade with itself, which is good! Will our first convoy be able to go from Baku-Grozny next turn? (we need the money soon!) I expect hat would be more profitable than UK-Baku although I'm not sure.

If it is only size one, and has no anti-tank defense, I would only let one RG, because when he is killed, the city will disappear, and we will lose a second RG for nothing. We should use this second RG to help defend an other city

Yes, but IIRC the one time bonus will be a lot less, if the city trades with itself. A Grozny-Baku route will be more profitable to deliver, and it will give 2 routes at once... just to 2 different cities. Practically speaking, this should be just as good as getting 2 routes to one city.
The real issue is, when do we need the money? RIGHT NOW, it looks like. Making a trade route Grozny-Baku will take an extra turn, the Convoy unit can't move all the way between the two cities due to the slower road movement rate in winter.
So, I would say deliver it UK-Grozny or UK-Baku, which should give a great bonus (which we need more than the ongoing trade routes, right now) and then in summer, focus on creating ongoing routes among Baku/Grozny/Maikop/Tblisi. Later on in the game, we can even create some routes between the big 3 caucasian cities and Moscow/Leningrad/Stalingrad... and once those cities start to celebrate, that's when we build Civilian Donations in one of them.
