What I suck at :

1) Doing anything that doesnt interest me. It's very difficult to invest any effort in things that even slightly bore me.
And i'm talking about little stuff here, conversations with friends, school, etc.
So most of the time when i'm not alone my brain is in passive reception mode...

When something does interest me though, and it can be a computer game or a book or some random subject like weather I'll spend every moment of my time on learning more and more and more and reading more and more and more, sleep, food and friends be damned.


2) People thinking i'm indifferent and boring.
Well, I am indifferent since I dont share almost any of my real life friend's interests and from that reason i'm also boring.
I'm also not quick at verbal responses. I'd rather listen a friend talk about something and well, make no reasonable reply. A few hours/minutes/days later, prefferably when i'm alone I'll get the urge to think about it.
In a normal conversation I dont invest a lot of effort on replying, so it most goes like :
Friend : bla bla bla.
Eli : uhuh...

And people think that I dont care or am not interested. Well, i'm not, at the moment. I'm not a person of momentary responses, wit and quick jokes.

3) I have no problems talking to anyone when i'm alone with them or almost alone. Then i'm the usual super-calm myself.
But when there is a company, of any kind... I get nervous, jumpy and usually say stupid things.

4) Music? All I know is names of famous bands... What songs they wrote, what's the difference between them? I dont know and I dont care.

5) Low libido.
People around me are trying to get laid, even people socially inept like me try to do anything to get a gf and therefore sex.

Me? When talking to some (hot) girl the thought of sex immediately comes up, but my line of thought is more like "umm... it's gonna be then first time so I wouldnt mind trying"... Not like the many people I know with plenty of experience and who still try to get laid at any opportunity because their urges tell them so.

This leads to me not even trying to get a girlfriend.

What an optimistic way to start a day.

I'm with you on this one. All of my interesting thoughts and insights come to me more slowly. Also, I learnt not to give much away (as an arguing tactic vs my mum). Unfortunately, my poker face is read as indifference in most circumstances.

To top this off, I'm always late joining a conversation and want to know what I've missed out on.

To sum up - pretty dull to talk to and not assertive F2F.


Besides this, at basketball, I'm tall, but suck at driving in traffic and keeping my composure under the ring (stay away, gayboys).

At soccer, I cannot judge the distance on my kicks, so 50% go to the opposition team.


At cycling, I ride my bike hard every day, but still it is my worst leg in a triathlon. I have grandmas overtaking me with their walking sticks tucked under their arms.


I suck at musical instruments - lack any drive to practise and cannot sight-read to save myself.


As for fighting, well I'm good at avoiding fights, but otherwise totally inexperienced.

I was exactly like that until a few months ago. Now that I have a girlfriend, my libido has risen bigtime. And even though I don't think about sex all the time, it has become a significant concern to me, while it was nearly-unexistant before.

same here. I draw like 5-year old.

also, technical stuff, repairs etc... I suck at it. Probalby because I have no interest in it whatsoever. When my friends talk about how many cylinders and stuff their cars have or how many megagigs their computers have... yuck.

Well, to be specific, the succession must be short term, not on day the street, the other day the little mirror. All should rather be the same day. Same hour would even be better, then you could improve your new skill ...
