I'm medium height with brown hair and brown eyes. I work out at the gym each chance I get and I look it too. I'm not particularly muscly (I lost an armwrestle with HMB and he does no exercise whatsoever) but this body is the only one I'm going to get and I take its maintenance very seriously.

I look mostly white - I take after my mother, who's a white American with German backgrounds. My father is Chinese and people say I have his nose.

Shortly after I finished my SMAC fanfiction, I sent a couple of fanboys a photo of me chewing some bamboo in Beijing. Back then, I was on cable. Now that I'm on dialup I can't upload large pictures.

I'll try to upload a picture of myself when I'm back on cable.

(Note: none of my avatars have ever been pictures of myself. The one I currently have is of Pat, my housemate's girlfriend and one of my best friends.)

Sometimes, looking at the pics on the pic thread breaks a sort of illusion about what people might look like: it is liek readin a book and seeing a movie, somehow the movie version has a good chance of being nothing liek what you thought.

I bear a small amount of resemblence to my avatar, but with a MUCH smaller mustache. There is are very, very few digitcal pics of me, nor do I own a scanner, so i doubt my pic will be seen here in Poly.

I also tend to picture people as their avatars. This has led to some identity confusion, since I've started picturing myself as my avatar as well.

Okay.

Now that I'm on the computer labs in the college, I should not be posting but I will try anyway. Assuming that I get the posting thing all sorted out, you should be able to see a picture of me playing the Brass Knobs.

This musical instrument was invented when I had to dismantle my bed's headboard, and was left with the brass knobs on my side table. Quick thinking housemate Hu Man Bing snapped a picture of me before I could get the camera off him.

Some of you expressed interest in my previous avatar, which showed the face of my cousin May.

Here's a larger version of the picture. She posed for the picture and wore a Japanese kimono costume for it, so it's by no means au naturel (haha!) but I personally think she's still one of the most attractive looking people in my family. (She's a second cousin on my dad's side of the family. She has the same Chinese surname as I do.)
