I saw a post there a newbie was advised to view this thread to find a game. SHAME I can only find spam in this thread! Newbies should be helped in a better way

Or maybe somebody thinks we have to many Civ 2 players already?

My wife just informed me that I have to attend a work function Saturday night. So I'm out for an early game, but I should be around later in the evening.

Classic wife move. She tells me about it, and when I mention the lack of warning, she says that it's been posted on the frig for weeks. When I look on the frig, I don't see it and ask her where it is. After a few minutes she finds it buried under THREE other notices. Yet it's my fault for not seeing it.

Thanks for letting us know.

And my wife uses the refrigerator for those commitments that she knows I want no part of. Then she can wait to the last minute to tell me so I don't have time to make an excuse or whine about it. She can say, "I put that up there months ago". And she knows damn well that I only look at the frig when she's waving her finger pointing at something.
