Now with that being said here are my first directives:

1. Greeny get with EZ Rhino ASAP and do a turn over. Make sure he especially knows about our Trade unit plan in the Urals: UK to Grozny, Baku and Maikop. The Grozny to Baku, Grozny to Maikop and Baku to Grozny.
The new Econ Minister also needs to start a poll on whether we should sell all the Sewer Systems or not. Most of the larger cities wont grow too much because what we produce in summer at surplus is eaten in winter when we have shortages. It also may only make sense to sell the sewer systems in some cities. Calculate what Moscow would do in the future for instance

Also EZ Rhino is only available till sometime in July when he is leaving us for AT LEAST four months. So Pinky Gen will take over and needs to understand what we are doing right now. Maybe he could do the city analysis for whether we should sell off the sewer systems for cash or not. EZ Rhino and Pinky Gen to work out between themselves.

2. Greeny I will get you a plan I had for Arms. I would read my thread that pretty much spells it out. Im waiting for some industry to pop in the Urals then build some Steel Mills via rushing. An airport in Kirov and we can start building and shipping out three units a turn!

3. El Awrance- continue what you are doing and get us some more propoganda at a regular basis. Bossy20000 if El is busy YOU start developing Pravda articles. As prolific as your posts have been lately that should be no problem for you! I want to see regular Pravda articles every single turn. Even if it is one article!

4. Bossy20000 as Party Ideoligist- You are to develop your own thread. The first thing you are going to do is list every member of the RF Demo Game and there Russian name in one post. If you cant find someones Russian name then PM or Email them and find out.

5. Iron Chancellor and Xenozod.- Every turn I want you to analysize the file towards the end of the turn and reccommend additional Garrisons in critical cities to improve happines thereby improving production/ Trade arrow production. For instance both Moscow and Gorkiy only have one unit garrisons. with more units they would be happier and could produce more. I want a list of all cities that should have additional garrisons each turn. You two can rotate turns.

We will discuss the takeover of Saratov and employment of NKVD units AFTER this summer. Right now maintaining a stable front in the south is a top priority. You two will will be in charge of that discussion/poll when winter returns. NOT BEFORE. And this is not a done deal. The group will discuss first.

SYTOM- I know you are busy but please be prepared to cover for others as vacations start this summer.

Assistants plan on covering for primaries as the need develops.

Assignments are effective now! So this turn Greeny will play Arms and EZ Rhino Economics!

This should be enough to keep you all busy, productive and out of trouble for a few turns at least.

In the future I want us all to minimize frivolous posts. Some of you are beginning to irritate the group. And one or two of you I suspect of spamming to get your post count up. So unless you have something good, productive and pertinent to say then please dont say it.

Thats it for know you all have a lot of work to do so get to it!

Comrade Kanzlereisky(Okay if I just call you Ivan? Easier to remember. ), we need to get together and set some plans down. As the first Chief and Deputy Chief of the NKVD, we will set the foundation for our successors(unless we are reelected ). Not only do we have what Comrade Knapovich has told us to do, but there are other responsibilities inherent with the office of NKVD... First and foremost, though, is our responsibility as set down by Comrade Knapovich.

We probably need to talk with Comrade Michaelovitch sometime.

Unfortunately I was on an extended fishing trip when the appointments were announced, and I didnt hear about this untill after I got back, (and after I took a shower). I am deeply honored that I was selected to carry this great responsibility, and I can only hope that our glorious Marshall and the Soviet people can forgive my indescretion and show me mercy.

General Secretary Follow up items:

1. What is the staus of the NKVD checking the garrisons of major cities and recommending changes for increased happiness and therefore better production? You two need to check every turn. Preferably towards the end. Post your recommendations in the Econ thread like everyone else so the Marshall can take action if he sees fit and it will help the war effort.

Comrade Knapovich, I've been thinking about the role the NKVD should be playing, and I believe that between the Economic Minister, assitant Director of the NKVD and myself, we've come up with a good one.

After all of the Front Commanders and the Armaments Commisar have played, the NKVD will present a report on happiness and efficiency in every Soviet city, identifying workers not using optimal squares, evil elvii and city garrison needs. While not actually fixing the inefficiences, the NKVD will make public their findings and present them to the Marshal for him to fix before he ends the turn. Between the submssion of the report and the Marshal ending the turn, commanders or ministers in charge of those cities may dispute the proposed changes and present their reasons. The Marshal will decide which is a better plan.

Of course, the NKVD retains it's role as guardians of the state in matters regarding loyalty.

Effieciency, that should be the watchword of the NKVD

This is excellent and it is something I have been sensing that we have been missing!

And the NKVD certainly can be the watchdog to make sure production is optimized! (Waste is criminal in the workers paradice!)
