Update from Master Zen, apparently GodKing couldn't play the turns as someone upgraded to 1.21 somewhere along the line.

If its okay with everyone I can open them and post the screen shot I see for everyone to know where he would have started and then disband his units.

I only plan to open Game #5 since it is tied with #2 and Hot_Enamel will have the right civ.

Will wait for the players to post their opinion before I do anything though.

so Godking can't play 1.21?? If he can't upgrade then we should get a replacement.

I would rather get a replacement than disband his units, as it allows those who are close to him to have an unfair advantage.

I am having problems opening the save. I think they were corrupted in the email or something. I would have posted here but nobody bothered telling me this thead existed. MZ said he will resend me the saves, and I will try to play them tonight (however, I teach class and will not be home til late tonigh, so I am not guaranteeing that I can play tonight). I upgraded to 1.21 and that was what we at first thought was the problem but it is not unfortunately. Sorry, if you are feeling the need, go ahead and erase me.... just found a city and the first to get there gets it for free!!!! Otherwise, I hope to join you all soon.

Great GodKing, nobody had heard from you so we were getting somewhat worried.

Master Zen, any chance you could play it again and send it to GodKing? You may need to play it as 1.14 then send it as most of the PBEMs I have been involved with upgraded to 1.21 on the first players turn and not in the middle. Don't know if that could cause a problem or not.
