I wonder if I should post a link to thread in which that happened. Well, it wasn't overnight, and it was at most realizing that I was just not entirely straight, not that I was gay, but it still happened.

And, btw, my sexual organs function perfectly and I can still cross my legs in the way that women do.

I could explain how it works... but this is a family site.

whats so hard about this question? If u were gay then by definition, you would love to have sex with guys. So if I woke up one day and found out I was gay, Id go find a hot male ASAP.

But such as it is, Im straight, so until THAT happens Im gonna look for hot female to hump.

Diss, that's a little disturbing that as a young child you wanted to see nakedness.

In answer to your question (from my perspective): No. Never even occured to me until my teen years after puberty had it's way with me.

OK. This topic is, well, just silly.

Boris, Starchild, MrFun, DRoseDARs, (sorry if I can't recall other "family" members)... along with the other Gay Apolytoners: Shouldn't this thead be labled the "Story of our Lives?!" After all, we have all evenually woke-up and realized that we were gay. Was it the end of the world? Lord no...It was the beginning of a whole new experience.

Actually, I whould say that I've been attracted to men since about the age of 10-12 years old...so Dissident, your age rage for sexual attraction is pretty close - since the age range is not the same for everyone.

as for me being attracted to women at age 5, well that isn't exactly right.

But even when I was as young as I could remember, I always wanted to see women naked . You know the days when you are a kid, and finding a playboy in the dumpster was a big deal. Or you go over your friend's house and his dad has porno magazines underneath the mattress. Ahh those were the days. Kids got it easy now days with the internet.

But even though I desired to see women naked, I didn't really know what sex was and didn't really want to have sex with them. I was actually a late bloomer into puberty. I didn't heavily get into sex thoughts until I was like 14 or so. And this is even more embarrassing. I didn't start masturbating until years after that. I really didn't even know what masturbation was, and had no idea how to do it. I know some kids now days talk about that stuff, and it is a common reference in tv and movies now days. But not back in the 80's that I can remember.

You said it clearly.

Can heterosexuals ever understand what is it like to be gay in society? Can they ever understand the experience of coming out to oneself and to others?

As for when I first became attracted to men -- I remember when I was in eighth grade that I was somewhat attracted to this hunky 30 year old social studies teacher -- even though he was obviously straight and married. But I did not realize the full extent of this attraction until I came out to myself when I was 20, and I looked back to when I first became interested in certain types of men.

its funny that you should mention the whole hunky teacher thing because when i was 16, there was this one teacher who was in his late 20s and he was hot. not only that he also had a very witty charm about him that i adored. its a good thing he was married or i would have been hounding him for some after school tutoring

but I never had any really good looking teachers

Diss, I had crushes on guys when I was 6, but it had nothing to do with seeing anybody naked. It was an emotional thing, not physical.
