OCP and RCP: hmmm...

This is OCP with RCP colours (please correct me if this is not OCP).

Edit: I miscounted on some of the cities, and came to a few incorrect conclusions; The inner ring is NOT all 5-RCP.



Each colour is a different distance from the capital. You will notice that the innermost ring of OCP is exactly the same as 5-RCP. Also, as cities expand in the NW-SE direction, 3 cities on each side have identical RCP numbers. Also, the CP is symmetrical mirrored along the NW-SE axis, so each city has at least one parter city with the same RCP number.

Add camps at your leisure

I do believe that is OCP, but I think your RCP colors are mixed, diagonals count as 1.5 tiles.

The Camp Strategy also allows your concentrate on all the core cities to utilize their full 12 tiles so that when the camps are disbanded the tiles for the first ring of eight cities are already improved.

You are right, I counted wrong.

I do know that diagonals are 1.5 tiles, but I miscounted for some reason...

The effect is still there, but it is less pronounced; with most cities only having one parter city.

Maybe this is an indication that I shouldn't be trying to mess around with CP??

Nope, keep working on things, its just easy to make a mistake when you get into something so detailed.
