thats what i like about my system of scoring. take your rank in terms of total points, add it with your rank in average, and then divide by 2.

average actually matters then

What about me and Stefu? We're 2nd and 3rd and neither of us has won. Considering that winners have to keep the next round and not get points for that round, coming in 2nd or 3rd all the time is the way to play. A shrewd tactician won't try to win, but to get a better than average score.
