It used to be you could get a custom avatar a year after registering, but that was since discontinued. 500 posts on-topic is now the only way to go, but it is fairly easy to do.

The forum menu has been disabled. The custom avatars have ben automatically disabled due to, as usual, high load.

The non-custom avatars are not affected.
