Kron is a bit harsh and quite bitter for a lager. Carlsberg Export is nice, as is Stella. Export is more sweet whereas Stella has a freshness to it every time.

BTW I got pissed on cans of Bud when I was last in the States...

Draft for sure if possible. It's the best. But then I make my weird move and second comes can. I like cans for some reason, and I'd drink beer from that, even when I like the taste of beer more from bottle than can. I know it's weird.

I go to bars specifically that have Newcastle or Sam Adams on tap. Draft beer tastes so much smoother to me. You can down them really fast, or just sip it. Either way, it goes down good.

Anyone stupid enough to drink Bud is too stupid to figure out draft beer tastes better. Bottles are for drinking at home.

And cans, well cans are just for kids too poor to afford any better- or for major alcoholics like my dad was. He used to drink this vile crap called Schaeffer beer

Cans are for getting ****ed up on the cheap. But if you are going to drink Schaefers, you might as well just go get some malt liquor. I discovered the wonders of the 40oz as a poor college freshman. A Texaco near campus had 40s of Silver Thunder for $0.99! Sure it was nasty, but if the goal is to get drunk cheap ...

Hmm, Draft Malt Liquor for the discriminating drunk?

Cheapest way to get drunk over here is to get a 3 litre bottle of cheap strong "cider". About 7.5% so around 22.5 units. About £2.99.

It's just nasty though.

It is a sort of high alchol content beer 7% to 10% alcohol by volume IIRC. But I hesitate to call it a beer because it is quite nasty.

It isn't beer, it's another type of alcohol. All those drinks from the hard liquor makers, like Smirnoff Ice and Morgan Gold and such use malt liquor as their base.

Some beers are made for drinking from tap - Bud, Bud light, MGD are not....they generally taste the same.

Some good beers like heineken don't translate well from the tap either

Newcastle and Guiness are great from the tap, so is Honey Brown and microbrews.

Tap, then bottled. To hell with the cans.

Ok, the pipes have to be clean to make tapped beer really good. Sometimes, the pubs have problems with that and in this case, I prefer bottled beer. Or if at the end of a party there's no way to drink another 10 litres of beer. And Kölsch tastes like Alt the next day. (Alt is the beer from Düsseldorf, and has its name for a good reason ...).

ewww, beer in cans. I avoid it most of the time. Now, a nice cold bottle of Newcastle Brown Ale is lovely stuff.

My local pub has nicknamed Carlsberg Special Brew "tramp piss". Or did we nickname it for them when we had that instead of a fifth pint of Fosters...hmm.... I should write stuff down if I'm gonna drink like this.
