As you may have already seen, the '76 summer games were in Montreal, and the '88 winter games were in (shudder) Calgary. Toronto bid for 2008, and made the short list, but came in third, I think, behind Beijing (the winner) and... Istanbul, was it?
Edmonton in 2012! We hosted the Commonwealth AND World Track & Field Championships! COME ON!
