Haha while patrolling near Persian coast, my Battleship suddenly started to battle with something invisible I assume it ran into Persian sub ? Can you confirm this BF ? Or was it just some other unit bugging

Bad News

My friend was over and his stupid dog somehow managed to chew half of my game CD's to very bad condition while we were drinking coffee in the other room I surely hope the mad dog will suffer serious stomach injury.

Unfortunately PtW CD was included in these half-eaten CD's.

My friend ofcourse pays new ones for me, but negative part was that i had to order new copy from internet as none of local software shops had PtW in shelf

New copy should arrive to me by post in Wednesday, 28th (or so did the internet shop claim). So we'll have to wait unitil then for my turn

Tried to look but could not found a working no-cd for PtW 1.27. If i manage to find one sooner, game will ofcourse continue. If not, then its Wednesday at earliest.

Well, gladly the dog didnt ate Conquests CD, so i can atleast play my C3C games/PBEMS

BigFree, you are very lucky in your tech stealing. Seems it is the only option that you could have gained all those techs in just 2 turns. When i last cheked diplo screen with Persia, i had huge tech lead, now, 2 turns later, i have only few techs lead anymore.

I never get that lucky stealing tech from the AI in SP. Maybe theres some "always successful tech stealing" bug in PBEM games that i dont know of If thats true, value of spies is greatly improved, unfortunately.

My guess it that Persia had made contact with the Vulcans who, seeing the clear inferiority of the Americans, decided to help BigFree.
