True - the speed of consumption thing is something I'd forgotten.

Usually I forget my true count when I get to 7 or 8, and we usually go to a few pubs so it's not like the bar staff can count either.

However, one unique day, we spent all day in the Snooker Club. ie, football at 12noon, a bit of cricket, football at 4, a few frames of snooker, Spanish footie at 8...etc.

Apparently the barstaff counted us as having 21 bottles each. That's 330ml bottles of Carlsberg Export, 5%. So..hmm, around 12 pints. Sounds about right.

Last time I had anything like this was around 5 weeks ago.

I honestly don't know as I don't stick to just beer in the course of an evening. Most often I'd start off with a few pints, move onto a few alcopops and finish off with a few shots.

Hmm...what did I have on friday?...

1.5 bottles of white wine
One 5.5% vodka Reef
One 5% vodka Smirnoff Ice
One "shot" of cider

That had me happy drunk, right in the sweet centre where you know it's not going to wear off soon but you're not going to puke. White wine added the giggles too.

The best drunk was on a 12 hour long pissup I had a few weeks ago. Drinking anything/everything from 1 pm to 1 a.m. Didn't even notice that my ankle was twisted from 10pm onwards until I woke up the next morning.

I am ok. I can't consume many beers though. 4 beers and I feel sick. not drunk sick, but "Too much stuff in my digestive system" sick.

With food, I can consume lots of liquor. Still, silliness, and hillarity ensue.

I hate Smirnoff. for some reason, for me it goes down REAL bad. worse that some of the wino-feed local brands.

Maybe 14 pints on the right day, at least in my prime. but I'm not as strong a drinker as I used to be. Good, as it's a lot cheaper that way.

Its hard for me to fit enough beer in my stomach to get really drunk from it.... but once you get the rum in me I'm gone

2-3 beers per hour is enough to keep me happily tipsy

But everyone knows you can drink unlimited amount of beer as long as you have something to puke out.

I did the century club in college using bud. To "shot a century" you have to drink 100 shots of beer in 100 minutes so I think that comes out to be something like 600 fluid ounces of beer.

Yes, I was very ****ed up. Obviously the strength of the beer and the time in which you consume the beer will dictate how much you can drink before getting sick or passing out.

100 shots = 100 * 25ml = 2500ml = 4 and a half pints

Is there anyone hear who can't keep up a pace of a pint every twenty minutes?

My worst beer orgy ended after No. 16. (half-liter bottles)
My worst drinking orgy generally ended after 9 beer, 30 shots of Tequila and some stuff called Harakiri - I wanted to commit such then, but found myself too drunk to perform it...

But that was, when I was younger. Nowadays, 5 beer already get me slightly drunk, when drinking them within in less than 5 hours. And still worse are my hang-overs. Even after drinking not more than 3-4 beer, when I am absolutely fine that evening, I can wake up with a terribly huge head. I'm getting really old.

Your count is off. It was way more then 4.5 beers. Assuming 3 ounces per "shot" that would be 300 fluid ounces. That is WAY more then four and a half pints.
