Germany formally objects to Britain's attempts to expand its influence! Vichy France explicitly asked for German defence of it and its protectorates against foreign aggression which Germany has done. After intense negotiations with the German government, Vichy France decided to give Indo-China to Japan. Britain has no right to interfere in Vichy France's decision to give up one of its imperial possessions.
