For those three weeks that Makeo is away I suggest we play a three session only game with a PG winner, if no other measure available. I have a scn world-like realistic map I'd like to offer. You can all look at the map pick you civ, then we play with map hidden. It's a biggish map but I suggest we increase sea movement to compensate. I'll post it later on.

Hopefully we'll have atawa, Trev, deity and Winzity plus up to another three who can commit for just three weeks.

There are some weeks coming up where I will be unavailable, they are Sept 20th, 27th, Oct 11th. Oct 4th is probably ok, but I will not guarantee my presence at this time.

This does mean I cannot take up deity's offer of a special 3 week session

For information of Aussie players only, I will miss the full weekend of play on Sept 27th, Oct 11th

An attempt to create a scenario as close to reality as possible on an Earth-like planet.
It is played as per the Civ2 manual rules with the following exceptions:

* Game length is extended to 2200AD

* Oracle's life extended to Democ

* Mikes effects curtailed at Electricity

* All ships have increased movement

It should be played like a diplo game but planetary conquest IS permitted.....

On Sept 6 we can start this scn at 9am GMT;
then continue on Sept 20;
and the third session on Sept 27 = FINISH (pg winner if no other measure)

Sept 13 we have the ongoing Euro/Aussie 5 way;
then not again until Oct 4...

Take 4 weeks and resume normal 5way on Oct 18th, as that is when I will be available to play again without interruptions. That way there will be less chasing around for subs etc

I believe if I read Makeo's post correctly, he is unavailable to Oct 11th. I am also unavailable during that time and 1 extra week till Oct 18th. Therefore with 2 players away the game cannot resume at the earliest till Oct 11th, and I would prefer it resumed on Oct 18th so that a replacement is not required for myself
