The papers this morning seemed to suggest that Real slapped a £14M pricetag on Makelele, which should not really deter Chelsea. It also said that Makelele is being offered a far better contract, andis thus quite keen on the move.

I also think they'll add Vieri (Inter would be stupid to turn down a £25M+ offer for an injuryprone 30 yr old), so stick him instead of Gudjohnsen...

Judging from what the guy has said - "As much as it takes".

I feel confident in saying the Chelski won't win the league this year. Although if they end up second and spend another 50 or 60 million in the summer it's gonna be pretty hard to stop them next season.

Depends how quickly Ranieri gets them all playing together. They certainly have the squad. I think next year's more realisitic though, and only with some continuity between the years.

I just wish you weren't limited to three players from a team. I wanted to get Hyppia and Carragher as well, but couldn't due to the three player limit. Unfortunate, as they're the two highest scoring defensemen so far this season.
