Pac was being petty with Mobb Deep... they did a song called "Cradle to the Grave" which was the name of a 2pac song and they started going around saying this the real Thug Life... real petty... was that worth such a violent beef (which continues til today as apparently some people drove by Prodigy's apartment building shooting guns and hollering Outlawz and West Side on a few months ago)? not really...
but anyway 2pac dissed everybody... biggie, nas, jay-z, puffy, lil kim, lil cease, the fuggees, chino xl, dre, snoop (yes... snoop)... and on and on... so if you don't like people cause of their beef with 2pac, you'd have to hate just about every rapper who was around in 96

well, there were other things too, I like some biggie, fugees, and jay-z... mobb deep just struck me as a bunch of *****es.

Gee, it couldn't be an opinion I've formed on my own from actually listening to Karajan, could it? You'll note that I explicitely explained why I disliked Karajan in the other thread. Your only response was similar to the above, which relied on nothing but reiterating you think he has no peer in Strauss. First, I disagree with even that, since Strauss certainly conducted Strauss better. Second, that doesn't really matter to me, because Strauss isn't high on my list of favorites.
I find your whining and defensiveness about my criticism of Karajan pretty amusing, though, since you're the one who started off with a petty, unprovoked swipe here. 
Of course, I also have to point out that Karajan was quite devoted to Bruckner, and is regarded by many as a superb Brucknerian conductor. Why do you think he chose Bruckner to be his last performance with the VPO?

Again, opinions are like *******s...but is yours supported? You don't like Bruckner, that's fine. I happen to enjoy some Bruckner, particularly the later symphonies and the Te Deum. They are very profound, rich works that are among the most earnest pieces of symphonic musical expression ever written. Really, since I haven't seen you do anything but reiterate tired stereotypes of him, I can't believe you've really bothered to listen to him. The fact you profess to love Wagner but then attack Bruckner is mystifying, since they are musical cousins. Wagner would smack you for it.

Staying power? Who do you honestly think is more popular in terms of pieces known and audience draw at concerts...Wagner, or Brahms? I'll tell you right now, it's Brahms. You'll find more performances of Ein Deutsches Requiem going on around the world than you will Tristan.

Bruckner's 8th is practically a loving tribute to Tristan. Fortunately, you don't have to put up with the fat people screaming in German, nor sitting for 4 hours waiting for the damned Liebstod, which is all anyone cares about anyway.

Infamous? that **** is a classic... damn...
but you didn't like their beats? thats impossible... mobb deep's beats are the most popular in rap. nearly every aspiring rapper raps over their beats... freestyles are usually over them... they clutter mixtapes and everything... type on kazaa "Snoop Dogg instrumental" and then try "mobb deep instrumental"... you'd be amazed by the fact that maybe you can find snoop's singles as instrumentals while you can get nearly every single released mobb deep song as an instrumental

but don't be too harsh on mobb deep sava... one of them got sickle cell which usually kills you in childhood but he's made it to 30 or so, though he's in continual pain... so dont be too insultive of prodigy at least.
