Is there a time limit for the games? Lately I have had less time to be here due to a new job. I would like to play, but I don't want to slow the works to much. Used to play a lot, but has been 10 years or so since I spent any time at it and was average at best.

I went ahead and created a game plan for a tournament between 6 players. That gives 15 games. Since we already started 8 (and finished 6 of them), we're over 50% and I would suggest to stop to take new players for this tournament.

The game plan is:

Round 1: 1-6, 5-2, 3-4
Round 2: 5-1, 4-6, 2-3
Round 3: 1-4, 3-5, 6-2
Round 4: 3-1, 2-4, 5-6
Round 5: 1-2, 6-3, 4-5

Now we have to assign our 6 players (MtG, Harry Seldon, muxec, Jaguar Warrior, zorbop and me) to these numbers. There are 720 possibilities to do this, but we have to honor the games already played and the colors the players had in these games. So there remain only 10 opportunities. I wrote a program to calculate them.

To choose one of them, I need a random number from 1 to 10. Would one of you be so kind to post one?

All that work, and you're virtually guaranteed to win anyway.

As we have a slow, steady trickle of players, and a huge user base, maybe we can set up some form of poly ladder system or something similar for ongoing games.
