Bah! After hardening my military skills in the depths of the Louisiana Swamplands I have come back to Oklahoma where I organized a small rebellion of 75+ soldiers and marched on the offices of our five Federal Congressmen, two Senators, State Governor, and several network news stations.Sorry for the long hiatus, but I am released from Active Duty (on terminal leave) and back home in Oklahoma. GF has (I hope) gotten a new email with the save attached. Truthfully, it was not my fault that GF doesn't know how to open his email.....

Hopefully, it will start moving again. In my other pbem, I just got nuked back to the stoneage, then I got to launch all my tridant missles back - verrrrry bad feeling when you open a save, and see that 3/4 of all your cities are glowing ruins, but that they never did find any of my subs - so 4/5 of the rest of the world is now ruins (I nuked everybody, just in case - good to have 40 subs floating around).

Now - we could do an analysis - see who has caused the longest delay - and call for A Crusade for their elimination. In fact - I think this hsould become a standard practice in pbem's.

Hmm... that might be an interesting premise for a game.

Um... you failed to write any balderdash with your post. Everything you said about declaring crusades against the slowest player was completely reasonable.

So what's the penalty for Beta failing to write actual balderdash when he sent the save?

I'm already running dual install of C3C and I am NOT going to run *tripple* install of C3C merely for the benefit of a PBEM game that moves at a rate worse than one turn a WEEK. Game received and sent for the first time in nearly a MONTH. In celebration, magic jungle voodoo powers were used by the holy clerics of Babylonia to remove the pesky Farbians from the game. Please note that the save no longer needs to be sent to them, which should improve the pace of play by several times over.

One of our most enthusiastic grass roots campaigners reported a very strange sight today. He observed a dark skinned individual covering himself in dye, not sure if it was a black skinned person covering himself in purple dye or a purple skinned person covering himself in black dye though.
