It was a good time and a good way to meet...out in the sun. Didn't get a chance to talk to Shi and Paulo much as they were at the other end. Kitty was much more mello and layed back than I expected. Milla looked way more relaxed and happy than I remember. More like a surfer camp counselor than a harried grad student.

I remember in the days before digital cameras, they had these things called scanners...

The library probably has one.

Ugh, I think that first picture of me is as close to myself as I'll ever want to get from the outside....

It was a great time...

Although I was a little concerned when I got to Bardia's and no one was there... I went inside and asked the manager if anybody had come in with the Apolyton group (thankfully I know how to correctly pronounce that now) and he said that somebody had come in a little while before with like six people.

So I went outside and was wondering what I should do. I figured it had been Jon and the group, and thought maybe they'd reserved a table and then went for a walk, or maybe they had just decided on another restaurant and forgotten about me....

As it turns out, I was EARLY in spite of being half an hour late...



And I got home with no troubles. The trip wasn't too long and I slept most of the way. The train car was pretty empty thankfully so I could stretch out a bit.
