I think IŽll have to disappoint you, Bongo, but the glorious empires of Germany and Russia are currently in peace talks.

PBEMNN Breaking News:
Berlin/Moscow
Representatives of both nations have signed a peace treaty. The Germans paid some reparations. Kaiser Wilhelm and Czar Iron Jackson call this treaty a "guiding sign for a glorious future".

It was in the dark of night that the agitators slunk from their homes and met at the wharf bar The Jolly Roger.
The general theme of their conversations was in how the chiefs have no right not to reveal what is happening with the Aliens. Although some people there could tell of amazing encounters with these wild people who walked over the very waves and sang haunting tunes that raised the fear of many a fisherman.
Looking around, the leading barman could find that only the invited were in attendance. With this he headed over and locked the door, congratulating the three stout thugs for keeping out those who were not invited. Then he went over and gave his boss the nod, who inturn went over to a tall chap, and quietly told him all was ready.
OK Quiet, lets have some quiet. The voice of this tall man seemed to ramble out of his very soul. We all know why we are here, and we even know most of the others in this room.
With this there were nods of various heads throughout the room.
It has been decided that on the 17th of the next month we will rise up against the chiefs, that we will throw down the gauntlet of oppression and lead our people into a new and open way of life.
Each of you is to go back to your towns, your guilds, and finish the preparations for this time. Remember that we will be victorious, we will help our people move forward and stop the Chiefs from giving over our land to these foreign interlopers.
To this cheers and yells filled the room. Over the coming hours many details were sorted out, requests were made and assurances given. Then just prior to the dawn, the people began to slowly and very quietly leave the pub, making their ways back to the hometowns to spread the word, to raise the nation.

A revolution the 17th!! Thats today!!! No, wait, he said next month
Anyway, back in Kartago journalist are still sullen about the fact that there are no facts but they have at last starting to make some interesting speculations(really wild stuff btw). The ones who could confirm(or deny) anything, for once keep their mouth shut, or are still doing some exploring really far from home*.
Ordinary people however, are too busy to care much anyway. Like Grog Thurmanson, masoner(32) said, 'what happens, happens. Not much much I can do about that. If I start asking questions like those nosy journalists, I may get killed by a club or some other high-tech weapon the "Spesialkommando" walks around with. I'm much better off sticking bricks together.'
* Really Far From Home is a journalistic term for 'more than an afternoons walk from my favourite pub/mistress etc.'
To Kaiser.
