My votes:

Height: as tall as me or shorter than me
Hair: Dark (black, dark brown)
Eyes: Dark (dark brown)
Hair: Short, long or in the middle... makes not much difference*... as long as there's hair (Don't want them to be balled )
Figure: Athletic (What is "Lean"?)
Skin color: The darker, the better (But in some cases (as above picture) the lighter color is ok also
"Asian" facial features (east asia, South East asia)


*Though in some cases I defently prefer short hair (Anyone seen Ghost? Demi More's haircut is perfect for her)

I can't begin to describe a perfect make. Looks wouldn't be my primary concern. Obviously, I would have to find her attractive, but personality is the selling point. There isn't a race or ethnicity that doesn't contain beautiful women.

i'd like to know the ethnographic breakdown of the members on this forum. my guess is that it's majority caucasian, which yields the high preference for caucasian features.

if it were not majority caucasian, however, one could ask the sociological question as to whether or not white has become the basic notion of physical allure.

Freud would say we all foster Oedipal fantasies, so therefore we find women similar to our mothers attractive. Since our mothers are no doubt the same race as ourselves, and the majority of people being caucasian, it's not a surprise we would select caucasian features.

as for what sava said, i'm asian, but born and raised in america in the south. i've seen just as many african americans as caucasians, and yet i tend to find asians and caucasians more attractive. i know fo' sho' that my momma ain't white, but what accounts for my finding caucasians attractive as a whole?

I also grew up in an extremely diverse place and do find individual with more caucasian or asian features more attractive than those with black features , specially the nose ( I like thin noses, not broad noses), but of course it depends (a great set of eyes is just captivating) on the whole package.

it's been suggested that for this reason, women are attracted to men whose scent differs slightly but distinctly from their own father's--it's a sign that their immune system is quite sufficient, but also different enough to provide gain.
attraction is such a funny and strange thing, and is notoriously hard to peg. symmetry is beautiful, but not too much symmetry. curious, nee?

Well personally, I like women of all creeds and colors. I tend to like darker skin tones rather than pale ones, however. But in the end, "the one" will be someone whose personality clicks with mine.

There's a difference between being a "white who likes Asians" and an "Asian fetishist", Uber. The fetishists have a certain view of Asian woman as docile and demure playthings that they can do anything they want to, a view that I find sad and somewhat offensive. I noticed that only 7.58% of us voted for someone TALLER than ourselves. I wonder if we're the shortest people on 'poly.

Well yeah, but if you're not physically attracted to them in the first instance you're less likely to find out about their personality.

As for st_swithin - most people voting will be men and heterosexual. Most if not all men like their women shorter than they are (and at 6'5" I am one of them). And as for muscular, I find it reduces feminity whereas athleticism accentuates it.

I do believe you're more naturally attracted to people from your own background. I am Dutch, and even without knowing, I quite often end up chatting up a disporoportionally large amount of Dutch and German girls here, just from pure physical attraction. I do not find most Africans attractive, and the ones that are to me will have caucasian features. In personal space (ie not pictures, tv etc) I'd wager that things such as pheromones might be attuned to a certain genotype, just as certain HLA alleles are more predominant in certain ethnic groups.
