Hello all, today is the offical start of this NES, and I will post the first stuff since I see no one else has.

From United States:
To all NATO alliance members(Top Secret):
United States will start sending resuply convoys to Europe now. We have a convoy froming now in New York City Habor and have subs guarding the entry to the port. The carrier goup America and Nimtz will be providing anti sub and air coverage to the first convoy. Also several antisub firgates will be with the convoy along with a AGEIS curiser.
As for the lost of Iceland, the Pentagon feel that getting Iceland back to allied hand is top pority, as that leaves our convoys wide open to attack by the Soviet Navy and airforce. Thus at minmum we must take out the airfields in Iceland.

NATO to U.S. (SECRET) :

We assure you, the flimsy pretect that the Soviets have offered for invasion is no more than another one of their fabrications. They really aim to take out NATO so that they can do anything they want all over the bordering countries. Which include you. Do you really want the Kremlin in control of all Eurasia?
Production orders:
The NATO countries are working to bring their arms manufacturies up to wartime levels to forestall running out of supplies. Conscription is being seriously considered by the national leadership.
Military Actions:
Standard defenses in Italy. Artillery in the hills above Udine, plus mobile fortifications along that river that runs through Udine. Shelling and minor bombing of the rail lines and roads that come out of Rijeka and Ljubljana, the only ones that lead from Yugoslavia into Italy.
EDIT: Forget the proceding stuff, Yugoslavia isn't Warsaw.
Germany: Fortifications on the West banks of the Elbe and Weser Rivers. From whjatever of Hamburg has not yet been taken, retreat to the Southwest and Island Portion of the city. Create a pocket in Helmstedt supported by Wolfsburg and Wolfenbuttel where armor and mechanized infantry can range out to attempt to cut off Soviet advances. In central Germany, make the crossing over the border and come around both sides and up into the Thuringer Wald, highlands that can act as a strongpoint for the central regions. Use it to support concentrations hear Hof that will attempt to advance a little ways into Plauen, which will form a large strong block along the southern border of Eastern Germany once troops firmly hold the mountainous Krusnehory. Send mobile infantry along the ridgetops to converge in the Kraj district of Czechoslovakia.
Make the most of our aerial superiority with ground support and bombing of enemy strong points in East Germany and Czechoslovakia.

I forgot one important part, Castor refused to help the Soviet Union in the war, that is what realy happen in the book sheep, sorry that was a misstake I made in not making it clear. So you can use Cuba as a base for fighting the war.

The Entire Pacfic fleet has been mobolized, so you were bombing nothing but the habors.
(Sheep you got to rebememer this one thing, 2 days is one week how the hell did you mobilize an assualt force and ships to the pacfic and how the hell you get through the pacfic fleet? All US forces are mobolized and all naval assets as well. I think you forgot how short the period is .)

United States quickly moblized a force of both US and Canadian troops. The Forth Army along with Candian army have started to attack the attempted take over of Alaska. Air raids have begun over Alaska and 6 carrier groups are moving in to cut off the Soviet supply lines and are also launching attacks on the Soviet troops in the area.

ooc: The alaska attack is ok, but you cant take it that fast. I just thought you took Guam the first time I read your post. Sorry about that. US has troops there also so they would put up a fight. BUt remember NATO is low on supplies too. Also you can seize middle east oil feilds for yourself too.)

The B-2 raids sucessfully hit their targets. In the Atlantic, convoys have been under constitant attack and 6 merchant ships have been sunk and 3 soviet subs have been sunk by escort ships.
In ALaksa US troops have just started to meat direct Soviet ristance, but the local population is supporting the US.
To UN:
We call a resultion that all member nations act to crub the Soviet threat. THey have shown their true colors by attacking the United States. Their claim that this war would be limited to West Germany was an obivous lie as we can see now. The world must Unite as one to defeat the Soviet threat to world peace and their action threaten to start a nuclear war.

As for US froces in Alaska they have train their as well and our equipment is all weather.

Soviet Forces are now cut off from all resuply and reinforce ment the United States navy now has total controll of the seas around Alaska. It is only a matter of time before the Soviets run of supplies and will be froced to surrender.

There has been no official reaction to the outbreak of war as of yet (save for a government statement calling for all sides to "make every effort to bring a peaceful end to the conflict"), but anonymous sources have reported to various media outlets that the Politburo has ordered a mass mobilisation of the Chinese military, and there has been upsurge in Chinese diplomatic and intelligence activities in neutral countries.

Sheep how the hell you capture 10,000 sailers and with what assets are you fighting??? Also how many troops you got in Alaska? I think it would be much better for the person getting attacked to say what damage has been done instead of the attacker. US airforce has airfields it can use in Canada sheep, its an allied country. I could see you attacking the fleet with long range attack aircraft, but how can you capture 10,000 sailers?? Only way is by caputring a carrier which is highly unlikely. Please include more info, and I still dont see how you could ever land troops on ALaska in the first place.
1.) United States Navy has a sonar net in the Pacfic Oceean and its still up and running. So it would detect a large surface fleet heading towards the US.
2.) United States has the early warning radar for NORAD there and its extremly prowefull radar. Attacking this radar would be threating the UNited States with nuclear attack.
3.) Sheep there is at least a division of troops stationed in Alaska, it would not be left undefended in time of war.
4.) United States has been mobolizing for a couple of weeks and all forces are on alret already.
