I will only pay for dates occasionally once a girl starts putting out for me. Up until then, if you pay for dates then you risk getting played for a fool. I've found that women appreciate and respect a man who doesn't supplicate to them by paying for everything and catering to their every wish. If you do such things and supplicate yourself to women, they will begin to think "If I can manipulate him this way, other people can too." This will make her feel insecure...

Well, actually my thing about paying on dates is indicative of larger issues. That is, when my friends and I go out, very often I'll pay for all of them. Money isn't a big deal to me - I'm not rich, but I have enough to live decently well, and if someone else can't afford to do what I want to do, I'd rather pay for him/them than not do it at all.

Nope. It's just that financial aid pays for all of my school and then some, and I work a full time job that pays decently well on top of it, plus my car insurance, gas, and a few other things are already covered. And I split the rest of the bills with a roommate.

Utilities and rent? Sure. Food? I don't. I don't consume as much as my roomates, and I eat once a day, so I don't like to split any more than I have to. The only thing I pay into for is milk and the occasional snack item; I think that's pretty fair.

Paying on dates ?

many times we would just alternate paying for our dates. That way, the person making more can choose a more expensive date occasionally without putting their date in a financial bind.

If " who pays ?" is a big deal. then you are probably not with the right person


If you don't have a lot of money, sometimes something as simple as a walk in the park/on the beach can work. If you NEED to spend major dough on your date, they probably aren't right for you.

Actually , escorts and streetwalkers will often entertain at their place or yours so there is no difference there.


I can think of hundreds of reasons why I would prefer to have a girlfriend/relationship over a paid escort but the geography of the sex is not one of them

Women are not a monolith, there can be a whole range of attitudes. I doubt every woman was submissive in the 50's just as I doubt every woman is a liberated feminist today.

The key is to find what you like. Me, I prefer a woman who lets me treat her to things, and who is more on the submissive side.
