Yes, Jerri Ryan has both a much prettier face, and a much fuller and real body than Ms. Blaylock.

Too bad the whole Borg-7 of 9 plotline took Voyager rom a mediocre show to a bad one. Damn Trek writers ruined the Borg idea! So much lost potential.

If she was a good actress, she'd cut her hair.

I've seen her other pictures, and I have to say is, she's scrawny. She needs to eat some pork (NOT THAT KIND OF PORK!).

Help yourself to an AD-FREE life

This was an EXTREMELY STRONG comeback

It makes me actually want to watch the show. But, I thought the same thing with the series premiere (which was also very strong), but the follow up shows were very inconsistent. If they can maintain consistency, they might have a winner on their hands. Key notes:

1) The sets look brighter and more colorful. Lots of bright indicator lights all over the place. This is a great improvement from the dull grey sets.

2) The vulcan chick has been sexed up, with her boobs sticking out. Her uniform is also colorful which is nice because the old one was drab and boring like the sets. Her hair is also longer and less masculine. Her character also seems more enthusiastic and dynamic and less vulcan drab.

3) More time was given to action shots. Adding the special forces guys in was a nice touch, especially considering everybody loves special forces and also they added a sniper which people also love. I also noted one of the special forces girls was doing some martial arts on one of the attackers so that was cool.

4) Lots of new species to play around with. Although I was undecided whether they were trying too hard, by including a whalelike creature and also an insect. Certainly though, this gives alot of new avenues to explore.

5) The Klingons were hilarious. No doubt they are going to be popping in frequently as comedy relief, always trying to blow up Enterprise.

I laughed my head off when the Klingon pilot hesitated to pursue enterprise and then his Captain pulled him off his chair and threw him on the floor! Hilarious!!! I want to see Klingons more!!!

5) The new mysterious "council" sounds pretty cool. Everybody likes the ideas of these mysterious "Illuminati" type organizations.

6) I thought the overall tone of the show was grittier, which is what I thought was making this show better than its predecessors. I think they lost some of that over the last 2 years. One of the problems I've had with the Star Trek shows is that they are always so idealisitic to the point you start thinking of Ned Flanders.

At least they haven't reversed the polarity or done something with that stupid radar dish in the front of the ship yet.

Though they are still doing the whole jump back and forth through time thing.

Not having read the whole thread, for reasons of spoilers, have they yet explained why T'pol wears such unconventional suit? I think Voyager explained 7's suit with the Borg energy loader thingy, what do you call it, umm, it works better with such a suit?
I'm all for slender figures in tight suits in Star Trek, though the miniskirts of ST and TNG are still my fav.

BTW, how many seasons are there allready?

So....the Vulcan Defense Force requires the Females to be in Cat suits? Perhaps we've been knocking Vulcans too much.

Saw it. Liked it. Loved the Druggie Jail Warden. The Marines were something else. Something else in that they didn't fight like complete spazs whenever a gunfight broke out. At first I thought they were going to be *******s, but they seem to be professional.

It's good to know star fleet expects them to be boarded often enough to need a company of marines. At some point they should explan why Star Fleet got rid of land forces.

They didn't get rid of land forces, they just don't show them. In DS9, the Cheif sometimes refered to the time he spent as a grunt fighting the Cardassians.

Got spare money?

I love the idea of some dedicated special forces that can fight well-- I always thought it was a huge hole in their procedures that that they send bridge personnel in shiny uniforms on dangerous missions. These guys are what the security forces should be like.

I liked the episode more than most last season. The only illogical bit is why all these races in the expans have not made regular contact with the ones on the other side-- After all, it was only a six hour ride through space that didn't even turn out to be that dangerous ( although I am still wondering what drove the Vulcans mad.

the other theme song was inspiring. it grew on me. though i would still prefer classical. I missed the beginning, so I didn't hear the new theme song.

I watched most of the episode. It just doesn't interest me like the old star trek series did.

T'Pol makes me want to kill myself. There's monotone speech and then there is MONOTONE speech. Seven of Nine could be monotone and still express herself fully, everything underlayed with Borg aspects. T'Pol is boring monotone that makes it sound if she's reading from the script.

The funny thing is that her speech is acutally more dynamic this season. You can hear actual emotional undertones to it!
