Now if you could get paid to sleep - then you would have something.
I read that the director of "Once upon a time in Mexico" etc got the money for his first movie by getting paid to participate in a sleep study. Changed his life.
Anybody want to hire me? I've got 34 years of sleep experience.

That's at least a third of your life longer than I've gotten.
I read that Tony Kaye's real name is Humpty Dumpty. Do you believe everything you read?

Hmm...
I hate how people who get off the bus, while pushing everyone out of their way, appear to somehow get amnesia and forget what they were so hurried about as soon as they touch the ground.
I mean, when I'm riding the bus, more often than not, I'm pressed by time. Especially since the buses are 'so' exact. So I need to move quickly.
But then this person who shoved his way to the door and gets off first, as soon as he touches the ground he suddenly slows down and comes to a halt. He stands on the ground, looks around, shakes his head in a "huh? where am I? what am I doing here? what is my purpose in life?" kind of way.
And while all this is happenning, there are still 18 people cramped at the bus door, hoping to get out, all of them in a hurry to catch another bus that is about to leave or something. But they can't. Why?
Because that senile dope that has just shoved his way out, is suddenly trying to understand the meaning of life, right there where he landed when stepping out. And no one else can get out, because the stupid ***** is standing right at the door so no one can get around him, or even jump above him.
I mean, just so I won't ever be in that position, even if I will forget my name, address and purpose in life as soon as I touch the ground, I always leap from the bus, and then quickly run away 2 more meters.
So by the time my mind grasps I'm off the bus, and begins to wonder where I am now, making "duh" noises and drooling, I am long out of the way of other passangers.

Since I posted that last bit, the following happened.
Sophie was playing in this room while Daddy was typing on the computer. All of a sudden, she stopped moving and started grunting - Sophie was going to the bathroom.
"Did you have a diaper?"
"I don't know."
"Sophie, did you have a diaper?" (more serious tone)
"I don't know!"
"Sophie, I know you know - don't lie to me. Now, did you have a diaper?"
Nods.
"Well, lets go change it then."
No big deal - we do this every day, and while it is gross it isn't so onerous that it merits attention on this thread.
But this time was different...
Unbeknownst to me, Mom put Sophie in her training pants, not in a diaper. This matters because the method of removal differs between the two, including the best position of the child when you remove the things.
I grab Sophie, swing her onto the changing table with her on her back, and casually just remove her pants like usual.
With the training pants coming up with them. With the feces making it just halfway before falling back down again, all over Sophies stomach and nether regions.
Of course, she is totally fascinated by this turn of events, and while saying "ewwwww", decides to probe the mass with her fingers (I'm holding feet, pants, and training pants, trying to put them (the training pants) in the diaper pail.)
But I hold my cool - I bark "Sophie, NO!" and she doesn't do too much damage... but when I am able to get some wipes, her hands are the first thing I reach for. Then the mass.
Well, she got a bath. Messes like that you just don't leave unwashed.
And while I don't mind changing her diaper, I sure HATED it this time!
