Ever since seriously regretting a decision NOT to date an attractive young woman who was coming on to me, though a good bit older, I've been getting a little bit more comfortable with the idea...

That said, I still prefer dating women younger than me. I suppose that it's just that if I have another situation where an older woman is actually coming on to me, I might not turn it away so quickly next time

I'm 22. I'd have no problems dating someone up to about 26 or something (and as young as 19), much beyond that you'd get into the territory of us having seriously different life priorities.

That's for a relationship, though. If we just talking about sex then the range would be 18-35 as long as she's hot (the hotness threshold gets stricter as they get older ).

When I was 24 I dated a woman who was 32 though most of the women I date tend to me +/- 5 years of my age.

BTW there was a great article in the newspaper yesterday which said 1/3 of American women date "significantly younger men" and the older women get the more likely it is to happen. Many of these women are highly educated professionals with successful careers who are in their 30s and who are dating men in their 20s. I guess it's kind of like how rich men like to date younger women only now many women have their own careers and can do the same with men.

I'm 22, and my fiance is 27. So, I have no problem with older women whatsoever. At first I thought my upper limit would be 40, but I think maybe up to 50 would be possible. Provided they were fit, intelligent, and so on.

It's not the looks that's the problem, it's the fact that they act like they're 12.

I think they're attracted to our eagerness and enthusiasm, something whih tends to wain as men get older. After all, we're at our sexual peak around 17, while women hit theirs in the thirties. Proof that God is cruel.
