Okay. A couple of ideas about what the "Event" is:

-Bush disbands Congress
-Iraq successfully rebels
-Osama strikes again
-Osama / Saddam / the Tooth Fairy is captured
-Texas Secedes (let's all hope it does)
-MarkG moves to Texas
-SlowwHand is released from the mental hospital (think it's been done already )
-Pepsi officially announces its inferiority. Disbands.
-Civ 4
-C3C? Don't remember the launch date for it
