As I recall the vote fell along party lines. And the Democratics did not have a majority vote in etheir the House or the Senate. The repulicans should not have done the impeachment simply because the votes were not there to convict him in the Senate. All it was really in the end was a show. I mean from the start I knew Clinton was never going to be removed from office for his lying under oath.

Well, we shall see, Che. Will any of these women sue Arnie? Other than that, we all we have is he-said, she-said. In the case of Clinton, that's all we had as well for a very long time. However, he did perjure himself in a provable manner. This forced him to admit that he had been lying to everyone all along. Whether Arnie is lying is still to be determined.

None of them can sue him. The statue of limitations is one year for sexual harrasment, so that means he cant be sued or charged with any crime if there things are true.

The point I was making Saint Marcus was that all I had to do to register to vote was produce a driver's license. Unless something has changed in this regard, you could get a driver's license in California as soon as you got here and then register to vote without being a citizen thanks to new legislation that Davis just signed. This is another reason the people will vote against Davis. He is making a mokery of citizenship.

Yes this is very true. They dont check weather you are a ciziten or not when you register to vote. They wait untill someone is reported to them before they check things out.

I'm not supporting Davis either.

All I'm saying is that the Republicans who bashed Clinton for his alleged actions, and are now supporting Arnie despite of the allegations, are hypocrites. Similary, Democrats who supported Clinton despite of his alleged actions, and are now bashing Arnie because of the allegations, are hypocrites.

But it runs both ways. Republicans used exactly the same tactics against Clinton, and now they're outraged that they're used against Arnold.

Yes both sides can be hypocrites lots of times.
You can say that the Arnold stituation is a little different from Clinton, since he did lie on national tv about that whole thing, then had to admit it that he did so again on national tv.

I can care less about Clinton screwing other women. In fact I respect him more for doing it . well not really.

But it bothers me he lied under oath. Our justice system is supposed to mean something. The oath is supposed to mean something.
