If there is a just and loving god in the universe (HA!), then this is what will happen in tonight's game...
--Pedro Martinez forgets to wear a cup, and takes a line drive right to the cojones off his first pitch.
--Manny Ramirez charges the mound after a pitch sails within inches of the top of the strike zone, trips, and breaks his nose.
--The Red Sox win 13-0.
Please, not Yankees-Marlins... a team everyone hates against a team no one gives a rat's ass about...

The Sox are up 5-3 in the eighth as I write this, but Grady Little has already left himself open to a second-guess. After the Sox batted in the 7th they were up 4-1, and Todd Walker had batted in the inning. Why on Earth was Walker not pulled for defense? If he blows a play to cost the game like Buckner in '86, it's absolutely Little's fault.

Guess I have to take back my last comment. Walker just got the Red Sox out of the eighth with a nice bit of fielding. None of the Yankee runs were his fault by any stretch.
