If it is still an open question as to what is going on, see my post in your "urgent" thread in our forum wherein I uploaded a copy of a 'near end of turn' save I got from Maki which you can look at if you haven't gotten one from somewhere else. There seem to be some odd problems with it in addition to the one where it wants to go to the Benedictines. For example, we have better intrinsic drone control than we deserve and the cost of SE changes may be off - perhaps the difficulty level got corrupted somehow? In any case, these symptoms are not present if I load a copy of the Borgs original transmission, so it must have happened during our custody of the turn (SMAX version differences?), so unless it is a truly wierd time-bomb, the problem is no worse than can be fixed by retaking our turn from the middle or the beginning.

I have replicated the problem (can occur when saving mid game play and one can accidentally have quit the game - the AI essentially takes over the faction pre exiting)

I have mandated a replay of the entire turn (so if Makahlua replays there will prolly be 2 or 3 replay messages - maybe 1 or 2 if another player does it (and about a dozen if I were to do it !!!))

As PEACE plays after the CyCon, this current problem with a corrupt .sav file has not affected the CyCon turn.

I can attest that right up to - and including - the turn that CyCon transmitted to PEACE the turns are OK

Most likely "retire" instead of "end turn" has been chosen.

This will give exactly this effect - the game jumps remaining players of current turn and goes to first player (in this game Hive)

Yeah - either Makahlua or some other PEACE member is going to replay the turn (when anyone of them gets round to reading their forum threads, that is)

(I've done it, from the CyCon's pass-on turn, and it does save and exit to the Drones as it should, but while I think I have faithfully replicated all their current turn moves it should be done by one of them)
