I can't concentrate either, if there's silence. I need music in the background... Though it should not be loud, otherwise my voices starts screaming at me to turn it down...

When there's silence I only work half speed, but when there's annoying noises in the background (Like road-workers close by, or some rock, danish "music") or someones talking to me, I get absolutely nothing done... or very close to nothing...

I can't do ANYTHING unless there is some background noise. When I wake up in the middle of the night and the AC/heating has turned off, and there aren't any crickets or ANYTHING, it really freaks me out. I can't stand it. I need a hum, something, to function.
