With regards to whether or not circucision prevents HIV infection there is a large scale prospective study in the wiorks in Africa. Small scale prospective studies show about a 50% protection, i.e., it reduces the risk of contracting the infection from 1:30 contacts to about 1:60 contacts.

Circumcision has been shown to have a protective benefit for a number of STD and other diseases. No one knows why though (although I've heard a few bullshit hypotheses).

it's funny to hear everyone who has spent their entire sexual lives either cut or uncut (i'm presuming nobody here has gotten the procedure done in adulthood?) talking about how THEIR way "feels" better, for whatever reasons they imagine. How the hell can you possibly know?

The constant rubbing with clothing while being circumcized kills many of the nerve endings, which is why it's far less sensitive.

It's like playing guitar...the first couple weeks your fingers hurt like a *****, maybe even bleed, but then they grow less sensitive.

Plus it's obvious if you've ever played with either of them. Touch the head of a cut guy and he'll look at your weird, touch the head of an uncut guy and he'll twitch and smack you.

no problems here. only after err...um.. finishing- sometimes it can be real sensitive. but usually not too sensitive
