Progress Report: December 1947

Our newly arrived defensive infantry units in the region of the South tiberias sea aka 'Kineret' have been put into defensive positions in the hamlets of Degania and Ein Gev.

I would like to convey my thanks for the assignment of these units, and would like to remind the government that a very large part of the Syrian and Jordanian armies will pour through that sector, so more reinforcements are always apperciated.

In the 'bottleneck' sector, we're still expecting some forces in order to secure Tantura, since we only have a defensive veil here, nothing more.

Progress Report: January 1948

We've counter-attacked two Jordanian Legion units that were approaching Petach Tikvah, destroying them. a third unit is approaching Tel Aviv which is completely undefended, though if the need arises, the Chief of Staff can borrow a unit from Petach Tikvah. Had I been warned of the delicate situation, I'd put the destruction of that Jordanian unit at the top of the list of my priorities. In any case, the situation isn't really dire or even dangerous at any scale.

for some more happier news:

The town of tantura has been captured and secured, thus opening the Tel Aviv Haifa road for friendly traffic.

for the next turn, I would like to present two upcoming challenges in my front:

Challenge A: the seeming sharp increase in Jordano-palestinian activity, in attempt to put pressure on our coastal communities.

Challenge B: Important The amassing of both palesinian and Egyptian (?!!) Artillery units near Beit Shean, in the Valley sector. I urge the civilian authorities to hasten the completion of training and production of a fast, flexible, Irgun unit in the area.

General Sadeh, congradulations on your conquering of Tantura, and decimation of the Arab legions.

Those Egyptians worry me too. Almost as much as the Syrians.

How did an Egyptian artillery get up near Beit Shan???

Also, Tel Aviv is not undefended, Ben Gurion is there, and his stats are excellent for defense.

There is also a fanatic at Gevaram? Should it be attacked by the Kibbutznick, or should he defend?

I am pleased with the progress, though the Golan makes me nervous, as well as the Egyptians in the South. We should probably rush the AA in the Golan this turn.

I hope more financial backing from the emigres abroad arrives, we will not be able to afford rushing soon.
