How could I forget when I mentioned it in a previous post?

As I said, the coverage of that was rather one-sided, and not in favour of the Islamic students. In fact it wasn't the just the Islamic students.

Anyway, the fact that anti-semitism gets so much play when I believe Canadian Muslims have a worse time of it (especially post 911) speaks to my point.

Plus one of my best friends from McGill was on the show. The big guy with the dark hair and possibly glasses who's head of Hillel at McGill and Concordia...he was a classmate of mine through uni and CEGEP. what stuff you mentioned before? i dont see any incidents in Canada youve mentioned.

Maybe its different up there, but anti-muslim incidents get lots of play here in the states. Just as much as antisemitic incidents.

Both are wrong. Both should be fought. Theres no point I can see in trying to start a rivalry about which is more serious. Bigotry is bigotry.

Due minorities (not just Jews) often thrive despite bigotry - yup. Is this a reason to minimize the importance of bigotry - i dont think so.
