There's a great family owned Italian place about 2 blocks from my house. They've been in business since 1937 and there now on the third generation of the same family owning and opporating the restaurant.

They have great pizza which puts that crappy chain store pizza to shame.

I went to Italy a couple of years ago, and I have never been the same...

I realized for the first time in my life what good food was all about

Every now and then I'd order a pizza........................................................fantastic!!!!!!!! One restaurant in Florence that I can remember asked me whether I wanted my pizza mild, medium. or hot. I chose medium, no doubts, that I couldn't have handled the hot at least not that day

The interesting thing about ordering pizza is you can just ask for a discount and they will give it to you.

Ordering pizza by telephone is like the only place you can get discounts just by asking for them.

It's not like you can walk in to McDonald's and ask if you can get a big mac for 79c. But you can ask to get pizza cheaper.

Always ask for the specials.

Just last week I asked for the 2 large one topping at Papa Johns. They quoted me $16 or some ****. I had to remind them of the billboards all accross town for 2 larges for $13.99. If you don't remind them, they won't give you the discount. And always tell them you have a coupon- even if you don't.

Pineapple on pizza is just disgusting and utterly gross. I'd rather put anchovies on my pizza.

maybe with some onion, too. it balances out the sweetness of the pinapple. but i do agree with you. wholeheartedly.

Ixnay pineapple is by far my favorite pizza topping, i'm a vegetarian so I've never had the bacon and pineapple thing, but like 99% of the pizzas I order are double orders of pineapples and no other toppings, i especially like what the pineapple juice does to the cheese, though I typically order half the normal amount of cheese of my pizzas

ordering by phone takes the same or less amount of time as online ordering, you have the possibility of getting a discount, and your pizza gets there quicker, so to me it looks like you are paying more to get your pizza slower

pepperoni = good

The more pepperoni on the pizza, the better it is.
