STILL IN THE TOP 100
(12 March 2000, 15:47 EST/CtP) It's been a while since we checked in with World Charts' Top 100 Games listing and, when we did earlier today, we were met with its new look as apart of Global 100, formerly WC. Civilization: Call To Power has been met with its (and some may say more than its) fair share of criticism from analysts, reviews and fans alike, but it must still be doing something right.

In the latest issue of the chart, #375(!), CTP is in the Number 41 position, just behind Wheel Of Time. The current #1 title is Heroes Of Might and Magic 3. Do you see something wrong with this picture? Go vote for CTP for next and each and every week! -DanQ

NO. 5, AND STILL VERY MUCH ALIVE
(12 March 2000, 15:23 EST/Civ2) Civilization II earned an Honourable Mention for coming in fifth in PC Gamer Reader's ALL TIME Top 50 listing. Given the game was released four years ago, and the number of titles that have come and gone since then, this is a very respectable showing indeed.

"Sid Meier's turn-based classic of historial empire-building seems sure to be a permanent fixture in our readers' Top 5, so endearing and enduring in its appeal", reads the write-up PCG staff wrote in response to CivII's placing.

And according to Daniel Jackson of Naugatuck, CT, whose comments were one of three to be selected for the game's blurb, his wife "thinks Sid Meier is the antichrist".

Poor Sid. ;-) -DanQ

ROUNDING OUT THE TOP 20
(12 March 2000, 15:42 EST/Civ2ToT) It may just be an another expansion for the series to some, but still to many others Civilization II: Test of Time is a worthy title that deserves its due recognition. It's been a while since we checked in with World Charts' Top 100 Games listing and, when we did earlier today, we were met with its new look as apart of Global 100, formerly WC.

In the latest issue of the chart, #375(!), the aforementioned title still has a piece of the voter pie with a decent showing in the Number 20 position, just behind Pharoah. The current #1 title is Heroes Of Might and Magic 3. Do you see something wrong with this picture? Go vote for CivII: ToT for next and each and every week! -DanQ

HOLDING ITS OWN IN THE TOP 10
(12 March 2000, 15:35 EST/SMACX) Support for SMAC, and the Alien Crossfire expansion pack, is still going strong. It's been a while since we checked in with World Charts' Top 100 Games listing and, when we did earlier today, we were met with its new look as apart of Global 100, formerly WC.

In the latest issue of the chart, #375(!), the aforementioned duo is holding its own at Number 7, just behind The Sims. The current #1 title is Heroes Of Might and Magic 3. Do you see something wrong with this picture? Go vote for SMAC for next and each and every week! -DanQ
