#223 SEVEN IS SWEETER
It may not be heaven, but DanQ is convinced that at seven Apolyton is an example of as close as one can get.

Just like chocolate, the six candles on Apolyton's birthday cake is sweet. Each one of them is well earned.

#221 ALIVE AT FIVE: 1,826 DAYS AND COUNTING...
Apolyton's social, technical and financial health is discussed along with the traditional number crunching excercise by DanQ.

#220 WHAT MAKES A GOOD CIV GAME (PART 4)
In the fourth of four installments, Spiffor l'Omnivore breaks down the fourth and last two of eight points needed towards building a good Civ-style game.

Apolyton Weekly News delivers seven days worth of Civilization-news from around the online and offline gaming community to your electronic mailbox free of charge. Compiled by ACS Co-Owner/Webmaster Markos Giannopoulos, the content covers all of latest news, files, and information from Apolyton's expansive gaming lineup PLUS what's happening on and around Apolyton's esteemed Hosted Sites PLUS news from other civ sites outside of Apolyton.

Its humble beginnings began during the pre-Apolyton era, surfacing as "CivMail" on the now defunct Ultimate CivII Site. The service in this format lasted a few short months before its rebirth as "Apolyton Weekly News". As Apolyton grew, so did the newsletter's size and its subscriber base! In early January 1999 the 1000th subscriber signed on, and in less than a year that number spilled over the 2000 mark. In mid-February of 1999 the name shortened to simply "Apolyton News", and on May 6 1999 it was renamed to "Apolyton & Friends News", as it started to contain news from "smaller" civ sites.

You can browse the entire archive of the newsletter below. On the right you can see a box that will allow you to subscribe to the newsletter, if you haven't already, if you like what you see... 'errrr read. :-)
