  1. ( afxgrin, 05-13-2005) Excellent map. I enjoyed this a lot actually, but yes - the complaints about gameplay coming to a crawl are quite true. Also, there is a bug when you play it under Conquests where workers can be used to build airports and radar towers immediately in the game. The AI seems to take advantage of the radar towers, but it doesn't seem to help it too much.
  2. ( Sim, 11-26-2003) This map is not bad, Resources set realy realistic (but I have made some modifications to play it with the conquests adon). Good map perfect for Mutiplayer matches. It's realy bad that Fireaxis couldn make such a good world map.
  3. ( Silpy, 03-28-2003) Fraxis should of really done this themselves. A Civ game without an accurate World Map where the Civs start in strange places. The only problem is that by about 1800 AD + we are at 250+ cites with 16 civs and it gets rather slow. I ended up going around sacking rival cities simply to speed it up! To play it with all civ's to the non-military end, you do need a really good PC. Defently worth it.
  4. ( werdhertz, 10-29-2002) What sucks, is i have a 2.5ghz, 512 ddr ram, geforce ti4200, and STILL this size of map makes the turns start to take a very long time around 1000AD. otherwise, its a very good map.
