I thought I would drag it out into a new thread, munch on a banana, and think about it for awhile. My take is that we do not have a formalized style of government. That we do operate as a commune.

We do not operate as a monkey pack as we have not had any squabbles over leadership.

So, what do you think, fellow apes. We Ok with our communal form of existence.

And I want to make one thing clear - commune does not necessarily imply 'communism', in the generally accepted meaning of the word. Then again, maybe we can redefine communism in our own terms, especially given our ecology bent.

Therefore - I see us as an SEC

Simian Eco-Commune

Or simply as administrators of a system that is bigger than all of us:

Simian Eco-Communist Adminstration or SECA.
