Where should our fourth city go? Suffering from ads?

I think site 3 on this map would be best next. We need more workers, and site 3 can do 5-turn workers once the cattle is irrigated (maybe doing warriors for MP inbetween workers if we can get enough shield output). 5 turns is long for a worker, but it may be the best we can get.

Help yourself to an AD-FREE life

I think my preference would be site 2. It has a lot more shielded grassland around. It won't grow quite as quickly, but it's more solid and already has several improved tiles around it. Once we have more workers we can start them on city planning projects (i.e. sending them to certain future city sites to get improved tiles ready before the settler gets there).

I also think we should start making plans soon for settling the southern areas. We have a fairly compact base right now...but we also need expansion room before others try to grab it. Those cattle and wheat tiles look mighty tasty.

Full PM-box? Change here!

The only problem with settling 2 right now is Buffet and Chow need those improved tiles right now. And If we devote 5 bonus grasses to Roll, Buffet will need another 4 to reach 10spt, Which leaves 2 with only the two bonus grasses that are exclusively in its radius.

Still, I wouldn't object to 2; we could certainly use some production right now, and farmer can move to a bonus grass up there in 2 turns.

I am in favour of site 3 next.

I am not in favour of building on site 2 at any time.

I might be better to build directly on the furs NE-NE-NE of Buffet instead - just a little more corruption, admittedly not on a river, but then again site 3 ultimately would be a small city with Buffet and Chow having food resource sites and also located on fresh water).

If 3 is the final decision that is fine. I was thinking more about production power for the new city, but you're right about Buffet needing those tiles too. Unfortunately I don't have the save to look at right now.

BTW, regarding future expansion those spices look good for making our food tasty, but let's not sell the farm to get over there before settling better production spots as well.
