We have agreed to exchange Mysticism for Masonry, which since 2 teams own each tech is a fair trade (~82 beakers for ~82 beakers).

We have also discussed the fact that it seems that Sunshine, MAST, and Tabemono are the only civilizations on our continent. This means that Monkey, Monty Python, Cake or Death, and Latin Lover likely share the other continent.

Since our continent seems to be absolutely enormous for only three civilizations and we'd like to have an advantage compared to the other continent by the time of contact, I have discussed with Tabemono the idea of setting up a 3-way chat with Sunshine and agreeing to a continental alliance involving tech-sharing, luxury-sharing, and agreed borders (once all land is known). The objective of the alliance is to build up our continent and kick the other continent's lousy hind quarters (the "crusader oppressors", I suggested calling them, though we can call them the "rainy starving crusader oppressors" to satisfy all three of us and give us reason to provide them with the enlightenment of our continent's sunshine, food, and righteousness).

What do people think?

This is good news, it seems Lego have a very strong influence over Tabemono. We actually seem to be in quite a good position here with our closest enemies being passive, friendly teams. Perhaps Tabe are planning on a huge Rider offensive later in the game.

As for the three of us sharing the continent, I don't think we are.... Although that should not stop us working together as if we were. We could so with speaking to SS sometime, I figure they'll have contact with any civs to the west if there are any. Although we need to get over there and explore ourselves.

I shoud think Tabe and SS are already very good friends and likely have some sort of allianvce going.

I tried to get into the chat, but I kept getting disconnected from the IRC server as soon as I connected.

A continental alliance could be very profitable, as long as we don't leave ourselves vulnerable to a double-cross.

Yes, SS and Tabemono already have contact. According to Tabemono, their ONLY other contact was with SS.

It looks like the reason SS had so much tech was that they were techwhoring to both Tabemono and MAST. Now that all three teams have contact with one another, SS won't be able to do that as much (as indicated by our trade of Mysticism for Masonry with Tabemono).

Tabemono will get contact with LatinLover very soon, their warrior is very close to Perla.

I think we should inform Tabe of LL before they meet, and maybe suggest that we help them get contact. So as to get some free brownie points.
