Noble k-nnnnnniggets,

as you probably have seen in the diplo thread (you check it every fortnight, right? ), CoD has no iron. We, OTOH, have no horses, while they have. They seem to be rather scared by being sandwiched between Monkey and us.

We have now 2 viable options:

- The most obvious solution is to build and upgrade 10-20 swords and get us horses, killing CoD.

- Another option is to continue the good research partnership we started, to share our horses and iron resources and to go after the primates together. Sure, this nets us corrupt cities, but that is nothing a good palace jump cannot solve. And since we have the king of all palace jumpers among us...

I'm personally leaning towards the second option. I see this DG more as a roleplaying contest than a serious competition, and two English comedy teams seem to be the ideal partners. Your opinion may differ.

So what do you think? And hurry up, I can't let Arrian waiting too long.

I agree. Together we could make all our enemies die of laughter!

The only caveat is if there are members on that team that we don't think we can trust...are there?

It all depends on how many sources of iron we have, and how many souces of horses they have.

If we can share equally, go after Monkey. If we can't, take out CoD.

If resources didn't matter, I'd still want to take out CoD. My instinct in these games is to take out your closest neighbor.

Considering that they are somewhat extremistic in their philosophies we should wipe them out. They certainly wont get cake from me!

I wonder... If we deprive them of pastries, will they die out by their own accord?

I agree with Sir Ralph. The "winners" of this game will be the ones who roleplay the most, not the one who conquer the world.

CoD will not be able to backstab us in the short term, since we have iron and a better strategic position. So let's go after the monkeys.

From the very start of the game we have choosen our oponents. The Monkeys. It is only logical, in a pervertet Monty way, to ally with them and go after CoD.....
On the other Hand, I would like to be illogical an share the iron with CoD and go for the monkeys. With any luck CoD will have to do the most dirty work, because:
a; they need our iron.
b; they are closer to the monkeys.
c; they don't want to feel like the middlepart of the Sandwich.

All right, but apart from the sanitation, the medicine, education, wine, public order, irrigation, roads, a fresh water system, and public health, what have the Monkeys ever done for us?

What? They didn't do all that for us? We don't even HAVE sanitation, medicine, education, public order and public health?

Well, what about the wines, we still have those don't we?

No? Well, they're a rather useless bunch, aren't they?

I say we kill them, and use the crossdressers as cannon fodder.

No we haven't chopped any forest yet. But we will soon build a city on the forest below GoEP.

Chopping the tundra forest near CA will help speed up the granary.

How about:
we chop down a WHOLE bunch of forest,
have our mums Womens Instuite iniate a enactment of a battle (the enactment of the first battle ever which WILL really confuse everyone because there hasn't been one yet) with CoD's WI AND THEN Insult the monkey's uncles (and second cousins) and then
show a detail plan on our efforts to jack lumber (graphic presentation and all) and tell the funniest joke in monkey and with all the troop enplacements (the hell's grannies!!) stationed in CoD we invade them really really easily laugh at their big bottoms? I might be mad but it might just work!!!!!!
