YES, it's the REAL DEAL. You have to be of age to enter this contest. Next weekend, time later announced, I'll be challenging everyone on Poly to a drinking contest.

You don't have to drink to enter this contest though. You can try to drink me down and be the winner, or you can bet how much I'll be drinking. It will be beer (no light beer you pansies!), and it will be lot of it. You must bet before the contest starts and give your predictions, and it would be cool fi you want to enter, that we'd start about the same time, but since it's most likely impossible, we have to figure something out. WHO'S READY?!

Spec, that's the biggest problem. I guess we just have to trust each other .. Also, you can try to guess what is the total amount of alcohol consumed if there are more than me entering this contest.

Sloww, that's very possible. But you know how it is.. there are no losers in this contest, unless you drop before 12 beers or something else that equals huge sissie. But I admit, my tolerance for alcohol is not high now, I haven't been drinking for a while. It's not about the winning, it's about participating.

Great! I just post on a thread on sobriety and now a challenge! I probably couldn't take out sloww due to his years of tolerance building, but mine is great. I've taken down guys who say they are "heavy" drinkers, and who are twice my size!... But, I must resist.

Noooo Japher, don't dodge this one. So I guess if Sloww enters and shows up, he'll be one of the favourites, but Japher looks pretty good too! I'm myself kind of a mystery.. I have been known to pass out after 8 beers, and walk moderately straight after 24, so.. I'm not in condition for 24 I guess.. but you never know! So Japher, don't you be dodging this one!

Starchild, Rules are not official yet. I can see your point. I just figure it ends pretty quickly if we start going toe to toe with shots.. plus everyone would have to have just about the same strength booze.. I guess I could put up a table that you can check out and figure out the alcohol value of what you're drinking... so then it doesn't matter what you drink.. but rules are still very much open.

Size of the beer does not matter, percentage counts. Here the lightest beer we have is 5% alcohol...Strongest is 12%. Tell me what you guys have.

Nooooooooo not 0.5 liter.. .0.33.. and had a good while drinking it. 0.5 is purely impossible for me, or I'll be in the hospital.

But we need a table so we know how much we are drinking in alcohol units, and .. let's make the schedule a bit lose, so you can enter later and finish later, but what matters is how much you can get down.. or? I don't know, suggestions are welcome. What about time limit? 10 hours? No time limit? How do you want to play this... I have to start this game on Friday, about... 9-10 GMT, so I guess US players will enter later, but most likely there is a point where we are all here at the same time. Or how do you want to go with this? I'd hate to wake up 4 am just to start competing in DRUNKATHON 2003.. suggestions?

The Strongest can buy here is Aventinus and Kasteel, around ~11%
Kasteel is very very yummy, havent tasted Aventinus yet but they say its great too.

I've only once drink 12% beer, that was in Tallinn and the name of the beer was Frederik
