Hive Infilteration Game
Only 3 people can join, with others as possible replacements (well, maybe four can play) Simply start by posting which character you want to be - its first come first served, so DOITNOW!
The Probe Team
The Probe Team consists of 3-4 members, each of whom are specialised in different skills. They must work together if the team is to infilterate the University's Datalinks successfully. Each team is made up of one of each of the following :
The Secret Agent
The Secret Agent is the classic spy - a master of disguise and smooth talking, the one all the ladies love, or sometimes the men. The Secret Agent will always prefer to use skill and cunning rather than force, and is the leader of the small team.
Equipment - Choose 3 items from those listed.
- Fake ID cards
- Tape/Video recorder
- Pistol
- Nervestapler
- Climbing ropes and hooks
- Medikit
- Latex face mask and mask making kit
- Fingerprint scanner
The Probe Engineer
The Probe Engineer is the reason for the whole team - he's the one the others have to protect so he can use his computer and technical skills to hack into other factions Datalinks. He could also be a demolitions expert, or a mindcontrol specialist. He's the one with the know-how and the cool toys.
Equipment - Choose 3 items from those listed.
- Download Terminal(portable)
- Electronic signal jammer
- Toolkit
- Nervestapler
- Mirror
- Medikit
- Demolition Explosives
- Experimental MindControl Probe (one use)
- Chaff launcher
- Nightvision glasses
The Assassin
The Assassin is there incase something goes wrong. With his special combat training the Assassin is capable of striking silently and swiftly to ensure that the team remains undetected.
Equipment - Choose 3 items from those listed.
- Sleeping Drugs
- Stealth field generator (battery powered)
- Silenced Pistol
- Nervestapler
- "Spiderman" kit for scaling walls
- Medikit
- Poisoned Knife
- Fingertip laser (10cm range)
The Rookie
Everyone has to start learning somewhere. This is the Rookie's first mission. Unless we get 4 players, I'll be taking on the Rookie's role myself. The Rookie has no special skills as yet, but is enthusiastic, and could take over if one of the specialists is killed.
Equipment - Choose 3 items from those listed.
- Combat Rations for the team
- Heavy Encoded Radio Set
- Extra Batteries
- Nervestapler
- Extra Rope
- Medikit
- Smoke Grenades
- Warm Jumpers for the team
Simply pick your character and items. Each Character EXCEPT the Rookie can take one personal item THAT IS NOT A WEAPON in addition to the standard kit. Don't pick anything that will identify you as belong to the Hive.
The University Files must be downloaded. In the event of failure please bite on your cyanide capsules. The Hive will refuse all knowledge of your existence. Your families have already been informed of your deaths.

Assassin
Suits me fine. I get to be the 'grey man' the ordinary civilian no one notices. What else would I need, some sort of nightvision goggles.
So it is snowing eh? How cold is it? I may pack a cameoflaged drysuit is we going to be outside for a long while.
As for the camera does it have a blind spot? I was thinking of using a board cooled with snow to hide behind and slowly move forward. This is of course, if there isn't anyone looking around the entrace. But I will leave it up to the techie for advice on overcoming this electronic device.

Oh, oops missed that instruction
I was so tempted with the drugs, but in the end I opt for:
Silenced pistol (it is soo secret agent)
climbing kit (now I have to find a way to open that damn window)
stealth generator (although I suspect it is the usual Hive quality)
Personal item-
Mirror on a stick for peeking around corners.

It is because I changed something on the page and pressed the submit button thus causing two things to be created hence causing HongHu to say the next post. Oh yeah, I want that nightvision thing! Oh well, I still have the silenced maulers.

Expect some amusement and excitement. First location will be in the fungus just outside the back entrance of Climatic Research Base. I hope you packed the warm jumpers, because it's snowing. Oh, that means you'll show up really well on the infrared camera above the only visible door. That is unless you want to try the MAIN entrance... which Mission Control advised against.
