Civ3 Conquests will be released in the US on November 4th. Our traditional Release Party will be held on the same day. The details:

- Date: Tuesday, November 4th, 2003

- Time: 16:00 Apolyton Time (that`s est, 21:00gmt)

- Location: #apolyton channel, apolyton.net irc server

- Access via: any irc client(like mIRC) or java applet

I can't imagine they wouldn't. Haven't they been no all previous release parties?

Anyway, sad that the party is at that time. I am away at that moment unfortunately...

The last release party I attended (Play the World) was not much of "party", but more of "a bunch of people hanging around in a chat room".

We need to get organized with booze, music, dancing and other fun stuff.

Problem is, it probably won't be in stores until the 5th. I know that the "official" press release says "in stores Nov. 4", but any site I see selling it says it ships Nov. 4. So the party may be a tad premature.

Also, November 4th is a TUESDAY, not Friday.

I'll be there. Atleast Apolyton got to have a Firaxis Chat for a change. We had what? The last 2, 3 at CFC? Since I'm a beta tester, I'll still be waiting for my CD (won't get it until later).

Well I'll look for my Beta Testers CD, but I've pre-ordered C3C plus bonus cd from EBgames, can't wait for C3C MP one hour longer than neccesary :-)

They won't even think about that until they see sales figures for Conquests, and Pirates is the priority now. Depending on what they think about the Civ3 Engine(and C3C sales)you might even see another expansion first before a complete over-haul off the game(ie Civ4).
