	The Cost Of Conquests Support Apolyton, buy Galactic Civilizations

I just want to say that I am impressed that Conquests is to go on sale in Australia from $26.95.

I am shocked, and had considered that I would be paying over $60.00 AUD.

Thanks Atari for pulling the proverbial out and looking after the community.

(13 June 2003, 23:52 | Civ3) The Australia and New Zealand branch of gaming publisher Atari is listing both Civilization III: Conquests and Civilization III: Gold on their website. While no description or images are provided, their entries do cite an October 28th release date of this year further cooroborating earlier reports on this front [related stories]; more importantly, this comes from an international branch of Atari, a source that can be deemed official to this end. C3C is CivIII`s second expansion pack and CivIII: Gold is suspected to be the original CivIII and the game`s first expansion pack, Play The World, packaged together.

Yet both of these sites are on Australia Dollar....

Although I do not have the exact rate of exchange, I have been told we are between 70 and 75 cents US this weekend...

$70.45 at the moment, it like the Can dollar($75.65) have grown stronger lately. Still that is a very good deal, it's strange that they don't have the box image to display.

Hmm 26.95 AUD? If that is 0.7045 AUD exchange rate, why the heck is C3C 39.95 Canadian at minimum (high as 49.95) with a 0.75 exchange rate in Canada....

intresting to see they are the only ones at that price , .....

Yes, that's probably correct. I haven't kept up and I had heard from one of my Aussie friends a couple years ago about the exchange rate then and never bothered to look up what it was now.

It seems to be on pre-order in NZ for $29.95, and the exchange rate is about 0.61US to $1NZ.

Thus we get it for about $18 US.

Damn shame about it being released that full week later though, or rather damn annoying how the US somehow manages to pull "a rabbit out of its hat" to get it earlier. Damn that rabbit! I will set my cat on it if I see that rabbit!

Masterzen is going to mock me senseless we get it so much later.

at first infogrames mentioned the 30 of oct , then the 4th of nov , and now its the 14th , ..... well one can always order it in the states and get it around the 10th or so , .....

now lets hope you aint in the boonies or something , .....
