With the way Asher has criticized IBM's semiconductor technologies in the past, I would think he would pay close attention to this thread.

I've never criticized IBM's semiconductor technologies really.

I believe I've always said the G5 was a competent chip -- just not the fastest.

Aside from Cloud9's vaguely amusing misguided troll attempt, the real news here is both Microsoft and Nintendo have stated they'd use ATI for GPUs and IBM for CPUs, meaning they'll be very similar or perhaps the same thing.
